Google’s Hilarious Depiction of The Terrible Truth

When you hear about sales and other promos on your favorite online shop, you would probably jump for joy and quickly log in and go online to do some shopping. But just recently, google has depicted hilarious truth about online shopping and how your online experience can be difficult and frustrating at times.

Google pointed out some frustrating truths customers experience when shopping online wherein people made a real life depiction of those truths. In the video, the actors made it clear how things can be difficult and annoying when you do shopping online.

In one of the videos, the actors played the frustrating truth wherein the online shop offers you something that you need and when the moment you decided to buy the item and visit the online store, a lot of things pop up. There are products and other items being offered many times despite your number of “NOs” to them. There are also things that are not even related to what you are about to buy being advertised to you.

This then results to you, the customer, getting annoyed because you cannot get what you want because of those ads and promos popping everywhere offering things that are not necessary or not what you need. And what’s even more frustrating, the online shop which advertised that item you are supposed to buy is not really selling that item. Disappointing? Yes. Frustrating? Definitely.

The online shop assuring you on their ads that they’ve got what you need, and the time you decided to purchase the item, you found out that it what just a bunch of lies all intended for luring you to visit their site and may be somehow pick and purchase the products they really offer. Websites should make sure that their landing page advertises the truth about the online shop. What is being showcased and displayed should not just merely be for advertising or for having many visitors but it should be real about what is being offered and sold in the online shop.

Another hilariously annoying truth depicted by google is that when you go shopping in a certain online shop, they tend to ask for your username, and then asks a lot of other questions like passcode and some nonsense stuff. And when you’ve done answering those, you have been just timed out. How annoying is that? You have were not even halfway to finishing your online transaction and you have just been checked out.

There are online shops that tend to waste people’s valuable time but asking all sorts of unnecessary questions. And by the time visitors are done with the question and answer portion, they are checked out. And they need to log in or visit the site again.

They say the online shopping should be easy, simple and of course enjoyable. But how come there are such online shopping centers that dare to do such frustrating things? It’s great that google have depicted these hilariously frustrating truths about online shopping. It is a way of raising awareness to the online businesses as well as the customers.
